Chaitanya College of Pharmacy, Markapur, set up in the year 2009, is one of the premier colleges imparting quality pharmaceutical education in Andhra Pradesh, India. Situated near Markapur in Prakasam District, this affiliated college is approved by the prestigious Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Chaitanya College of Pharmacy offers three courses in total, all full-time programs. These include one undergraduate course (B.Pharma) and two postgraduate courses, viz. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics. All the courses put together have a total approved intake of 244 seats. The B.Pharma is the oldest program, and it constitutes the backbone of pharmaceutical education; hence, it offers 100 seats. While at the postgraduate level, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis is having the highest intake of 120 seats, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics is relatively new and offers 24 seats. Departmental diversities offer an opportunity for students to get specialised in their interested domains of pharmacy.
