Chaitanya Institute of Science and Technology, established in the year 2005 at Madhavapatnam, near Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, is an affiliated college approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institution offers various technical and management programs. Spread out over a sprawling 10.67-acre campus, CIST has a total student enrolment of 1,073, with a faculty strength of 162.

Chaitanya Institute of Science and Technology admits students in a transparent manner based on merit. For its B.Tech programmes, admission is made mainly by AP EAMCET. For the MBA course, aspiring candidates may take admission through APICET.
