Chanakya Education Society's Indira College of Pharmacy was started in the year 2006, and in these years, it has grown out to be one of the well-known institutes in the field of pharmaceutical education in Pune, Maharashtra. ICP is located on a 2.5-acre campus and imparts quality education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The College is accredited by NAAC and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, and All India Council for Technical Education. This institution has a total student enrolment of 582 with a faculty strength of 41, making it a very diverse learning environment with the availability of 6 courses across 4 degree levels.

The ICP has many modern facilities for the academic and personal growth of students. Modern, well-furnished laboratories on campus include a central instrumentation facility with sophisticated equipment, industrial pharmacy labs with pilot-scale facilities, and a CPCSEA-registered animal house. The college has a well-furnished library with adequate resources in the form of books, journals, and digital resources related to pharmacy. ICP provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, each accommodating 1,500 students with Wi-Fi connectivity and hygienic mess facilities for the convenience of the students.

The institute offers quite a comprehensive range of programs in the field of Pharmacy: D.Pharma, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Pharm.D, and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate. All these courses cater to different specializations in the related pharmaceutical field. The admission procedure in ICP is different for different courses. The undergraduate courses, like B.Pharma are offered mainly based on state-level entrance examinations. However, the institute considers GPAT scores in the case of the M.Pharma course. For Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate, the candidate should have a non-zero positive score in NEET or must have appeared in all the subjects of state CET with a non-zero score. First preference will be given to NEET scorers.
