Overview

B.Tech. CSE is an undergraduate course specializing in computer programming languages and computer system technologies. This course is structured to offer requisite skills to the candidates in the various areas of computer application, research, development, and computer programming. It includes subjects like computer architecture, networking, algorithms, databases, distributed computing, and computational intelligence.

CGC Jhanjeri, one of the top B.Tech. Computer Science Colleges (CSE) in Punjab is an 8-semester degree program. The students enrolled in this subject learn how to develop and test multiple algorithms and software that would lead to effective solutions to organizational problems.

Scope

Gaining an understanding of computer systems and programming languages is the aim of the undergraduate CSE course. Over eight semesters, students will learn the ins and outs of distributed computing, algorithms, databases, computer architecture, networking, and computational intelligence.

Eligibility Criteria

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a Board recognized or established by the Central/State Government through legislation and a member of the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

Those candidates who have passed a minimum 03 years Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

(The institute will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the program.)

The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good, greenery is very good well maintain, and big ground is there any sports play here and bibraries are there in 1 block and hostel are 2 1 girls and 2 boys hostel building, and about wifi is not working sometimes.

My experience in this college is good.

College Infrastructure

this college has a good infrastructure and is well-maintained, but as comparable to a landran college, this college is a very small area, but this college has the best infrastructure. total five blocks in this college, but construction is going on, and three blocks will be ready in 2026, I think. classrooms are and libraries only one in this college and Wi-Fi in this college is not working only for students.

College Infrastructure

Collge infrastructure is well maintain and greenery is well maintained. New building are constructed for new batch. Their are 2 libraries for the students. One big auditorium is their or more than 500 student and staff.
