This three-year program combines theoretical knowledge with practical application to provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles of journalism and media practice. Graduates get exposure to various dimensions of print, electronics, and new-age media, and numerous technologies involved in mass communication such as computer applications, and software and hardware applied in print, radio, TV, and internet.
Scope
Embark on a journey through the B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication degree program and delve into the intricacies of media writing, broadcasting, public relations, and digital journalism. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience in a variety of media formats to ensure well-rounded skills.
Candidates must have a passing of 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council
OR
Having passed the Matriculation examination AND have also passed a three-year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.
