B.Sc. (Fashion Designing) program from CGC Jhanjeri has been designed to promote an understanding of Fashion and Textile Design that is related to the needs of home textiles, contractual furnishings, fashion and business to business textile products. It will provide hands- on-experience on complex technologies that are found in the industry today to solve current trends. Students develop strong multi-functional communication and teamwork skills using verbal and visual presentations that interface with practitioners of the design industry and community.

Eligibility Criteria

The BSc Fashion Design program lasts three years and is divided into six semesters. The course covers specialist disciplines in fashion design, such as jewelry and accessory design, clothing design, footwear design, interior design, and leather design, among others.

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council.

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri- Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects

Candidates who have passed 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
