Chandra Dental College and Hospital, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, was established in the year 2003. This co-educational institute is affiliated to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and is approved by DCI. Chandra Dental College and Hospital runs a wide spectrum of dental programs. The flag bearer course is Bachelor of Dental Surgery with 100 seats. At the postgraduate level, the college offers programs for Master of Dental Surgery in specialisations such as Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontology, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. The institution also offers diploma courses in Dental Hygienist and Dental Mechanics.

Admission to Chandra Dental College and Hospital is truly based on merit and there are no hidden processes involved. Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years at the time of admission for the BDS course and there is no upper age limit for General category candidates appearing for NEET (UG). The college accepts NEET scores for undergraduate admissions, with a maximum of three attempts. For postgraduate MDS programmes in the college, the candidature will be based on NEET conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for postgraduate courses. The domicile status is also considered by the college in state quota admissions, which needs the supporting documents to prove one's residence.
