Chandragupt Institute of Management, Patna offers admission to postgraduate courses in different specialisations. The PG courses offered by CIMP Patna are PGDM and PGDM-IEV. The course duration of PGDM is 2 years. To be eligible for CIMP Patna PGDM admissions, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.

CIMP Patna EFPM Admission Process 2025

• First, candidates will have to meet the CIMP Patna EFPM eligibility criteria. 

• Submit the application online and pay the online non‐refundable/ non-transferable application fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled (DA) candidates).

• The candidate must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) not exceeding 1000 words on the area of their research interest along with his/ her application.

• An EFPM Admissions Committee, comprising of members from the Fellow Programme Committee and respective areas of specialisation will screen the applications and shortlist and recommend the candidates who may be called for interviews.

• Candidates having relevant experience of 3 or more years will be given preference in the CIMP Patna EFPM admission process.

• The shortlisted candidates will receive their call letters for interviews and will be required to appear for a Personal Interview at the CIMP campus for the final selection.

• Final selection will be done by the academic area of specialisation for which the candidate has applied based on the overall performance of the candidate and the requirements of the areas and provisional admission offers will be made.

• Candidates need to fulfill the CIMP Patna FPM eligibility criteria.

• Then, candidates require a valid test score, from any one of the acceptable tests: CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ NET.

• Fill out the application by paying the application fee. 

• The candidates must submit a synopsis of about 5000 words on the area of their research interest (tentative research proposal) along with his/ her application.

• However, every candidate has to make a presentation before the selection committee.

• Shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on Test scores (CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ NET), previous academic record, relevant work experience and the quality of presentation.

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Research Proposal Presentation and Personal Interview (PI).

• Candidates will be informed about the Research Proposal Presentation and Personal Interview (PI) schedule by email. 

• The final selection of the candidate for CIMP Patna FPM admission will be based on the cumulative score consisting of Academic qualifications (20 per cent), CAT / GMAT / GRE / NET score (20 per cent), Research Proposal Presentation before the Selection Committee (40 per cent) and Personal Interview (20 per cent).
