Chandragupta Maurya College of Education, Patna, a teacher-training co-educational institution, is noted for the fact that it is a college recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi. Admission Process Degree

Selection for admission to the B.Ed is mainly based on merit; that is, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, as well as scores in entrance examinations or other selection processes as per the state government and university policies may also be considered. Candidates should also satisfy the eligibility condition of having completed their graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university in order to be eligible to join in the B.Ed course.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): This program is a two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 100 students. Admission to D.El.Ed is merit-based like the B.Ed course, evaluated concerning the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The admissions are according to state government and Union Territory administration and affiliated university guidelines. Eligible candidates for this program should have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
