Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a privately held pharmaceutical education institution located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, established in the year 2005. The institute is affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University and offers various programs of pharmacy at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The campus is compactly built on 1.65 acres of land and accredited by NAAC. In fact, it enrols 558 students with a faculty strength of 49, thereby keeping a good student-to-faculty ratio. The programs have 5 courses in 4 degrees focusing on different aspects of pharmaceutical sciences.

Facilities at CHIPS Guntur are vast and varied to enhance the academic and personal development of students. The campus has well-furnished laboratories equipped with the latest R&D equipment, a library with over 8,000 volumes and many e-resources, and modern IT infrastructure with a computer laboratory comprising 70 systems. The institute offers various courses in Pharmacy, which includes B.Pharma, M.Pharma (with specializations in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics), Pharm.D, Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. All the programs are full time and of durational years of 2 for M.Pharma and 6 for Pharm.D and Ph.D.

The admission process in CHIPS Guntur is a blend of merit-based selection and management quota. For B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and Pharm.D programs, admission to 70% of the total seats is through a common entrance test, while the remaining 30% comes under the management quota. For the enrollment of Ph.D. programs, the admission is made through APRCET.
