Cherpulassery College of Science and Technology for Women (CCST) and therefore today stands as such an institution located in Palakkad, Kerala, and provides girls with excellent education in different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. CCST facilitates selection procedures for deserving candidates for all programs offered under the university. Admission rules and regulations for all programs at the college strictly follow the admission rules and regulations of the University to which it is affiliated.  In the case of undergraduate courses, a candidate must have completed an education of 10+2 from a recognized board.

Postgraduate programs require that a candidate possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. The general procedure is for the undergraduate programs to commence immediately after the announcement of the results for the 10+2 examinations, while the postgraduate programs usually begin after the declaration of the results of the bachelor's degree. 

Application Process

The following pertains to application processes at Cherpulassery College of Science and Technology for Women:

1. Browse through the CCST homepage, under the admission section.

2. Download and fill out the application form for the desired course. Ensure that all details are correctly filled in.

3. Attach all requisites documents, usually:

• Photograph.
• Mark sheets of the qualifying examinations (10th, 12th for UG; Bachelor's degree for PG).
• Transfer Certificate from the last attended institute.
• Character Certificate.
• Caste Certificate if applicable.
• Any other certificates worthwhile stipulated by the college.

4. Hand in the duly completed application form along with all supporting documents to the college admission office on or before the due date.

5. Pay the application fee, as will be prescribed by the college. The fee amount and methods of payment will be specified in the application form or the college website.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: CCST offers B.Com programs in Finance and Computer Applications on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) with a prominent weightage to commerce subjects.

BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration program, which is based on the admission criteria of 10+2 score provided to the candidate would give preferences to the students who have a background in commerce or any subjects pertinent to commerce.

BCA: Based on the performance of candidates in their 10+2 mathematics and computer science background, candidates for applying for the Bachelor of Computer Applications program will be favored.

B.Sc.: Sc. courses offered by the college are Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Psychology, where admission is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination in the relevant subjects of science.

BA: CCST offers BA programs in Economics and English. Selections are based on 10+2 performance in humanities subjects.

M.Com: Admission to the Master of Commerce in Finance program requires a bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field. Most admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

M.Sc.: Admissions to the M.Sc. Computer Science program are open to applicants with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. Selection will be primarily based on the performance of these candidates throughout their undergraduate curriculum.
