Chhaygaon College, Kamrup, was established in 1974. This is a co-educational affiliated college. It is situated in Chhaygaon, Assam. Diverse offerings in the institute include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college has a total enrolment of 2,611 students and faculty strength of 38 members on the 5.3-acre campus. 

The Chhaygaon College has comprehensive academic offerings combined with state-of-the-art infrastructures coupled with a keen sense of commitment to quality education. Most popular among these are B. Com with specialisations in Accountancy, Management, and Computer Applications; BA with honours in subjects such as Political Science, Philosophy, Assamese, History, Hindi, English, Education, and Economics. The college also offers vocational courses like B.Voc Information Technology and computer applications, besides a Postgraduate diploma in Computer applications (PGDCA).
