In 2001, Chirala Engineering College, Chirala, was established and is autonomous. This college is approved as per AICTE norms. CEC Chirala has established new requirements for qualifying to use the fee refund programme. Scholarships at CEC Chirala are facilitated by the government and was mandated by the Supreme Court to impose a consistent cost on students.
