Chittaranjan College was established in 1967 and is one among the intermediate premier institutions of education, siting right in the heart of Kolkata, West Bengal. At 8 A, Beniatola Lane, the affiliated college has been offering high-quality education to young minds since the past five decades or so. The College has an enrolment of 1,109 students with a faculty of 12 members to ensure personal attention and quality education.

Chittaranjan College have also been proud of a lot of amenities that are set up to assist in enhancing the entire campus life of students. Library of the college is store house of knowledge, along with stock books, periodicals, and newspapers aiding in academics as well as in preparing competitive examinations. All the above courses are of three years of full-time designs in such a way that the students in this institution shall gain adequate knowledge and skills in the respective fields chosen by them.

Admission to the institution is now based primarily on the merit of the students in their 10+2 examinations.
