Christ College, Vizhinjam, was set up in the year 2014 a premier educational institution located at the vibrant Vizhinjam coastal Region of Kerala. This affiliated college has emerged as one of the most saleable colleges, having enrolled 10 courses in 7 different degree programmes. Currently, Christ College offers education to 444 students while being supplemented by a solid team of 32 faculty members. An insight into the field, choice of courses offered in the college and strategy for moulding a generation is derived from the following specialisations offered to meet the needs of the young generation interested in: psychology; computer applications; business administration; and english literature.

The college has some of the most splendid facilities that help in achieving the college ideal of overall learning. A well-stocked library is the learning centre and resource centre for students and other users. Any kind of person who has interest in sports and fitness activities will have numerous facilities in the college. This complex also includes a new-style auditorium that can be used to accommodate several activities, such as events, seminars or even cultural performances. Christ College has equipped computers throughout the campus to assist students as they prepare for the fast-growing, technology-enhanced world. Productive places for the student include college cafeteria since this is where they will find a place to eat and also complete their social obligations. Christ College Vizhinjam provides the 10 courses in full time mode. They are composed of both, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, with various subjects, Commerce, Arts, Science, and Management among them.  

The admissions process in Christ College, Vizhinjam, is mainly done on the basis of merit so that every student gets a chance to opt for their subject of interest. The college offers numerous undergraduate courses for which admission is taken Such courses include B.Com with optional subjects such as Tax Procedures and Practice, Tourism, and Travel Management or Finance and Accountancy, BA in English and Communicative English, English Language and Literature, and BCA besides BBA, B.Sc Psychology, and BSW.
