City Girls College, Lucknow Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The City Girls College, Lucknow, is an affiliate nursing institute situated in the very heart of the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The college, which has been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers a unique portfolio of undergraduate and diploma programs strictly reserved for female students.

The admission process at City Girls College has been structured to select only deserving candidates for its various programs. Admission processes start regarding a month or two before the commencement of the academic year. However, specific dates for different programs may vary.

For undergraduate programs B.com and BBA, admission is mostly done on the basis of merit. Thus, it considers the performance of the candidate in 12th standard examinations. Personal interviews may also form part of the selection process for B.com and BBA. For B.Ed, admissions are done on the bases of state-level entrance tests and counselling procedures. 

Application Process

According to different programs, the admission procedure differs for City Girls College, Lucknow:

1. For B.Com and BBA programs

1. Acquire the application form from the college or download from the official website.
2. Fill in the application form accurately with personal and academic data.
3. Enclose all the necessary documents, including 12th standard mark sheets and certificates.
4. Noon send the duly filled application form with the relevant fee.
5. Await notification for the personal interview.
6. Attend the personal interview at the specified date.
7. Final selection is done since on the basis of merit of 12th standard marks and interview performance.

2. For the B.Ed program:

1. Registration for the B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the state government.
2. The entrance examination must be taken on the dates specified.
3. Announcement of the results and waiting for counseling.
4. Participation in counseling at the University.
5. Selection of City Girls College, Ratankhand as the first preference in counseling.
6. If allotted, seat allotment must be confirmed through admission at the college.

3. For D.El.Ed program:

1. Obtain the application form from the college or download it from the official website.
2. Fill out the application form with all required information.
3. Attach all the necessary documents, with mark sheets of the qualifying examination.
4. Submit the duly filled application form along with the application fee.
5. Appear for the entrance test on the given dates, if an entrance test is conducted.
6. Final selection will be done in view of the merit of qualifying examination marks or entrance test performance, as per the state policy.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com and BBA: Admission to these programs is done based on the merit of 12th standard marks (Intermediate level) and a personal interview. The aggregate percentage of all subjects in class 12 marks will be taken into account. Both programs have an intake of 120 seats.

B.Ed: The candidates must qualify in the Joint Entrance B.Ed Examination conducted by the state government for admission by virtue of State Government orders and notifications. The candidates for the B.Ed program shall participate in the counseling in the University and need to select City Girls College as their first option to obtain admission in this institution. There are 100 seats available for this program.

D.El.Ed: Admission will be made into this diploma program based on the merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination according to the rules of State Government/UT administration and the University. This program has a home capacity of 100 seats.

Generally, the documents required for obtaining admission are -
