CMD PG College, Bilaspur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

CMD PG College is without a doubt the oldest and one of the most reputed colleges in Chhattisgarh, CMD PG College, Bilaspur, is providing a lot of courses in under-graduation, post-graduation, and doctorate degrees in some of the commonly chosen subjects. The admission cycle starts as early as a few months before the beginning of an academic year, that is in August-September. Mostly, all the admissions for these courses are based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination; a very few of them like B.Ed. and M.Ed., may follow the entrance examination marks or other selection proceedings as prescribed by the state government's or the UT administration's or the affiliating university policy.

Different universities follow separate criteria regarding eligibility. In undergraduate programs, an applicant is judged on the basis of having passed the 10+2 education from a recognized board whereas postgraduate applicants should have done a bachelor's in the degree they are applying for. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com: Admission into the B.Com forward program is based on the qualifying marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. Eligibility for application is granted to students who have completed their higher secondary with Commerce or equivalent subjects.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): Admission to BCA is decided by the marks scored in the 10+2 examination which also sees whether students have studied mathematics and computer science at the higher secondary level.

Ms.C: At CMD PG College, M.Sc is offered in many fields including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Computer Science, and Biotechnology. Admission in either of them will be based on qualifying marks obtained in the corresponding bachelor's degree program.

MA: The college offers MA in various subjects like History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and Public Administration. The common mode of admission is through the marks obtained in the respective bachelor's degree.

B.Ed: Admission to the B.Ed program shall be conducted according to an entrance test or any other selection measures prescribed by the state government/UT administration and the associated university. Merit would be based on qualifying examination and/or entrance tests.

The M.Ed also based on merit and subject to an examination; allows admission or through any other selection criteria as determined by the relevant state government, university or UT administration.

Ph.D.: Ph.D. courses in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Commerce, and Geography are offered. Admission to the Ph.D. programs will be based on a proposed research course of study, an entrance test, and possibly an interview by the appropriate departments.
