CMS College of Engineering Namakkal referred to as CMSCE Namakkal, is one of the reputed engineering institutions built in the year 2007. This affiliated college is situated in Eranapuram, Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu and this college is spread over 15.79 acres of land. Namakkal has got approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with the intention of providing quality education. The institute has a wide list of engineering programmes currently having total of 7 different courses under 1 degree programme. Presently, CMSCE Namakkal is a self-financing college with 182 students and 72 faculty members, including a healthy student: faculty ratio that helps in providing proper care for every individual in need as well as a quality education.

The CMS College of Engineering equipped with numerous modern structures that would enable the college to provide a better learning environment and personal development of the students. It is considered to be one of the essential parts of the school having 42,830 volumes and 10,175 titles in its particular collection. It also subscribes 135 national journals, 158 international journals and magazines and 586 on line journals through Springer link Industrial electronics and engineering development (INDEST). This has made it open accessible system with internet facilities that enhance research and learning activities. Those of the students who are interested in sports and games facilities are available like basketball ground, cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground, kabaddi ground, Kho-kho ground, volleyball court and badminton court. The college also has a well equipped gym which even encourages the students of the college to lead a healthy lifestyle.

At present, CMSCE Namakkal provides 7 full time BE degree programmes which take four years in completion. They are general engineering courses given the institute’s intention to have a variety of engineering courses. The total number of intake approved through out all the courses is 270, based on the specialisations offered like Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

It also has a health centre to administration first aid facilities for the students of the college. To meet the daily food demands, there is a food court on the school compound in order to satisfy the needs of the day scholars and hostel dwellers. Thus, the institute is benefit from sufficient and well equipped laboratories for each department that emphasise practical sessions.
