CISAT Muvattupuzha: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Cochin Institute of Science and Technology (CISAT) or CISAT Muvattupuzha is an affiliated college in Ernakulam of Kerala. This institute, set up in 2012, has imparted quality education into the engineering disciplines for more than a decade of its existence. Being located in Ettapily Mannathur P.O., Pampakkuda, this college provides a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The CISAT vision is to provide the constituents and the general public with quality technical education and develop innovative student. 

The Cochin Institute of Science and Technology  also has various facilities to enhance the student activities that is part of the up to date facilities that the institute has. The library facility which is very important in CISAT is fully stocked with more than 13500 volumes of books and 35 national and international journals. To cater for the need for students’ physical fitness, CISAT possesses outstanding sporting infrastructures; football field, volley ball/badminton courts, Athletics track, cricket practice hoods and table tennis. The campus is well facilitated with modern and current Information Technology equipment to enable the Compact for student use. Hostel for both boys and girls with home away from home facilities, with neatly maintained accommodation and healthy food.

CISAT provides an aggregate of ten courses in two degree levels, B.Tech and M.Tech. The B.Tech programmes comprised civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communications engineering, computer science and engineering and automotive engineering. In the postgraduate level of study there are M.Tech courses in Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering,Structural Engineering and Construction Management, VLSI and embedded system design. All these programmes are full time courses though they are executed as short term courses that equip the students with lot of knowledge and practical experience in their field of study. 

This is because the admission policy at CISAT has been developed with the intention of offering level playing ground to all candidates who may desire to join the institution with an intention of pursuing their various programmes. Coming to M.Tech programmes, it is probable that the institute takes into account the students’ marks of the previous degree and may conduct a test or interview.
