The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology is a leading institution, offering various programs in agricultural engineering. The college is an affiliated institute of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and is known for its strenuous selection process to recruit the very best students for the numerous programs it offers. Common entrance exams accepted by CAET for undergraduate admissions are MHT-CET, JEE Main, and ICAR AIEEA-UG. The knowledge of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is tested by these entrance examinations. The B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering course is a basic course in undergraduate studies offered by CAET.
M.Tech admission postgraduation will be offered by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune on Common Entrance Test in Agricultural Engineering. Therefore, advanced study for strong foundational knowledge of the agricultural engineer can only be carried out on that student selected by this exam. The admission cycle usually coincides with the academic year, which begins around August-September. Students are therefore advised to refer to the official website of CAET or the respective examination authorities for specific dates related to application submission, entrance exams, and result announcements.
