The College of Agriculture, Bikaner, is a constituent college of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University established in 1988. The programmes include Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Horticulture, Extension Education and Communication, Agricultural Economics, and Biotechnology. For the advanced research needs, Ph.D. programs are available in various agricultural disciplines.
The COA Bikaner strictly undergoes merit-based admission procedures to ensure that the right kind of people get admitted. For the purpose of B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) programs, the admissions happen in the light of a Joint Entrance Test. In most cases, this entrance test is conducted by either Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University or the State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. The Controller of Examination declares the dates and venue of this entrance exam. Every aspiring postgraduate student has to appear at the Pre-PG Test, which in fact is a competitive exam taken at Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, or State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. Doctoral admissions are made on the basis of a Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by any State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. Usually, these entrance exams are held every year; however, the dates vary every year.

Degree Wise Admission Process
