The College of Agriculture, Bikaner, is a constituent college of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University established in 1988. Located at Bikaner, Rajasthan, this prestigious institution lies within an area of 225.25 acres. Endorsed by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR), COA Bikaner offers a wide range of 18 courses across 3 levels of degrees to its 587 students. College of Agriculture, Bikaner has a faculty of 28 members comprising dedicated professionals, which gives it a relatively favourable student-teacher ratio. As it is a co-ed institute, its doors are open to all backgrounds, and in this atmosphere of inclusiveness, it trains the students.

The academic programmes offered by the COA Bikaner vary in nature as they try to cover nearly every field of agricultural science. The college provides education through 18 courses spread out over three levels: Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programmes. B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) is the flagship undergraduate programme that serves as the basis of agricultural education at the college, while postgraduate education is offered in a number of specialised M.Sc programmes. The programmes include Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Horticulture, Extension Education and Communication, Agricultural Economics, and Biotechnology. Each of the programmes is offered on a full-time basis which will ensure high-level study and research opportunities for students. For the advanced research needs, Ph.D. programs are available in various agricultural disciplines.

The COA Bikaner strictly undergoes merit-based admission procedures to ensure that the right kind of people get admitted. For the purpose of B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons) programs, the admissions happen in the light of a Joint Entrance Test. In most cases, this entrance test is conducted by either Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University or the State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. The Controller of Examination declares the dates and venue of this entrance exam. Every aspiring postgraduate student has to appear at the Pre-PG Test, which in fact is a competitive exam taken at Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, or State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. Doctoral admissions are made on the basis of a Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by any State Agricultural University of Rajasthan. Usually, these entrance exams are held every year; however, the dates vary every year.
