The College of Agriculture, Hanumanamatti was established in the year 2011, is a constituent college at Ranebennur Taluk, Haveri District, Karnataka state. In addition to this, it is a co-educational institution with focus on providing specialized agricultural education to prepare students into agricultural specialists.  The college provides only one degree program under its name, B.Sc. Agriculture, which is proof of its specialization in agricultural sciences. Due to its favorable location in Kolar district in the agriculture central of Karnataka, the college seeks equal field experience and old and new knowledge for the students.

An array of teaching and learning facilities has been developed at the College of Agriculture, Hanumanamatti. The campus has different hostel facilities for boys and girls students which provide a comfortable cultural home to students from different states. M(b)An equipped library plays an important role of disseminating available knowledge in literature in and outside the agricultural education fraternity. Further, the college also has departmental laboratories that provide the students some hands-on experience of the real world of agricultural science.

The B.Sc. Agriculture programme in the College of Agriculture, Hanumanamatti is a four-year full time course of study to give a complete over view of agricultural sciences. Solely provided by the institution, this program has direct approval of enrolling 50 students per year. It helps the college to keep the quality and effectiveness of the studying process on high level, as well as giving individual meet to each learner.
