Established in the year 2003, the affiliated Under Graduate college, College of Agriculture, Sonai is located in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational institution that operates from a 117.4-acre campus and focuses on agricultural education. The current enrolment of the college is 624 students, and the faculty strength amounts to 40 members. For providing specialised education in the field of agriculture, the only degree programme which the college offers is B.Sc. Agriculture. 

The commitment of College of Agriculture toward studies in agriculture is very much reflected within the course administered and the facilities within the institute that provide a hands-on experience in this regard. Being under the college of agriculture, Sonai is equipped with a number of facilities that strive to make the learning experience of the students worthwhile. The college also has a provision for an auditorium for organizing academic programmes and seminars, thus helping students and the faculty in various intellectual debates. For the welfare of its students, the college supports sports facilities with a gym. The campus also has a cafeteria that would be used by students during breaks to gossip and relax while having refreshments. Therefore, the fully functional health center in the college campus, with first aid facilities, will be adequate for medical needs.

The number of courses the institute offers is only one in number, that is, a full-time course—B.Sc. Agriculture. This undergraduate, 4-year programme has an intake capacity of 180 seats approved for the programme, exemplifying the college's prospective calibre for ensuring just agricultural education to a good number of students every year. The curriculum developed for the B.Sc. Agriculture programme is comprehensive and caters to the requisite knowledge of agriculture science for the students, making them adept in any sector of agriculture and allied industries.
