The College of Applied Science, Calicut (CAS Calicut) is one of the most popular universities which was founded in 1993. This affiliated college is situated in Kozhikode, Kerala and offers a vast majority of courses. CAS Calicut occupies the area of 0.986 acres and it has total number of students from 904 and faculty members are 34. The college offers 11 courses in 8 majors, with focus on Computer sciences, Electronics, Commerce and English. It is an affiliated college that offers quality education while at the same time availing conditions that favour learners of different status.

College of Applied Science, Calicut has a set of contemporary amenities that may help in multifaceted activity of the college. The college library has over 5000 titles and over 7000 volumes of books making a wealth for knowledge for the college students. It is completely automated by KOHA system and offers IEEE online digital journals, e-books and e-journals. There is a computer lab in the campus having almost 100 computer, most of which are networked and are used for normal computer lab classes, project work, research work and campus interviews. There are sports centres for physical exercise to meet the needs of the students. The college also possesses an auditorium of 600 students and two seminar halls with sophisticated presentation tools. A canteen provides services to their staff and students’ necessary food requirements.

This institute has in its portfolios 6 under graduate and 5 post graduate courses that are fully accredited and internationally recognised. All 11 courses are full time and regular programmes. The courses offered by the college are BA programmes, B,Com, B..Sc programmes, BBA, BCA, and MA, MCA and M.Sc. Eligible programmes intake is approved by the affiliated University and currently, the college is permitted to intake 310 across the courses offered. 

There are several undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and a candidate may be eligible for one or several of them. At the same time, it is impossible to discuss the particularities of scholarships for this college; however, there may be provisions for providing financial bonuses for the students.
