College of Applied Science, Pattuvam (CAS Pattuvam) is one of the premier institution which was set up in 1999 in Pattuvam, Kerala, India. This affiliated college is a compact 2 acres with specializing in the field of computer science electronics commerce stream and offers other diversified academic courses. CAS Pattuvam has a strength of 255 students and 19 faculties which magnifies the scope of learning for the students and the faculty as well. The college teaches 6 courses in 4 programmes offering both undergraduate and postgraduate education degrees in technology and business.

CAS Pattuvam is equipped with many state of the art facilities that can in a big way facilitate the learning of the students. The college possesses a rich stock of both technical and non technical books in college library, which plays a vital role in college education system. There is additional ample technological support available at the institution for those inclined towards that. It comprises of more than forty modern systems with both undergraduate and postgraduate sections, and broadband and VPN Internet connections. This digital temple also has UPS back up, scanners, laser printer and air-conditioning to make the working environment comfortable. The Electronics Lab is equipped with the necessary sophisticated equipment so that the students in their line of specialty may have a feel of what they are specialising in. In addition to the above, the college also provides for the sportsmanship of the students as well as a health facility with first aid services.

CAS Pattuvam provides a fair number of full-time courses; in its overall, it has 6 academic courses. These include three undergraduate programs: B. Sc Computer Science, B. Sc Electronics and B. Com Computer applications which are of three years durations respectively. Courses on offer for post graduate are M.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Electronics, and M.Com Finance and all the programmes are of two years duration. 

The college is proud to have a very active Training and Placement Cell which handles all matters pertaining to placements of its students. 

The campus situated at Kottiyam offers placement through campus recruitment through partner companies, namely Bigleap and Keltron that give placements to only those students who meet an academic average of 60% and above in all the semesters. This intention creates opportunities for employment with multinational companies for talented students. Further, the college has a good association with their alumni where they can build up the rapport for the current students for placements.
