College of basic sciences and humanities is located in Uttrakhand is an amazing college for UG, PG and PhD courses for the students. College has an amazing building with well maintained classrooms however washrooms condition is not satisfactory but overall infrastructure is good.
I'm here pursuing btech biotech course and quality of teaching is quite good and teachers here are supportive and encouraging . Yes our curriculum is updated once in year but applied knowledge should be improved
Placements here is quite average.. of 5-6 lakhs per annum. Absolute placements cannot be promised although many events and conferences and organised here. Placements process is not so easy as we have to go through interview and other activities too .
Btech biotech course cost 1 lakh 55 thousand average per annum including mess bill. The amount of money invested here is not so worth it and requires personal hard work. I btech biotechnology course here is quite expensive compared to other courses.
Campus life here is interesting as we live here with people from different backgrounds. Kisan mela is held twice in a year which makes it even more interesting. Market, Gandhi park, and many more places to roam around
The College of Basic Sciences and Humanities have well developed infrastructure and facilities. In our classroom, smartboard , projector and everything which is needed is present . Laboratories are present but we didn't have use much . In our physics laboratory equipments didn't work properly. Our library and sports centres are the places which I like the most . Hostels are good but there is no wifi facilities.
I am currently pursuing my BTech Biotechnology course. Actually except our main subject like cell Biology, and Molecular biology all the other subjects teachers are teaching good . I think we are only studying theory I would like to explore more practical knowledge.
Placements at our college is generally average .The highest package till now is 5lakh in Biotechnologyand on an average out of 4/10 students are selected. Placements Process is pleasant and Dean of our college is very supportive to upraise Biotechnology course.
My annual fee is around 155670 rupees. I didn't feel I am getting my money's worth as what I accepted is practical work in Biotechnology course but till now my first year is going to end but I didn't have done any practical. Teachers come and start teaching from ppts.
My College Campus is very beautiful. My university is largest University of agriculture and technology. Library is very large filled with many interesting books . Our stadium is very large and best place for physical development. All colleges are covered with greenery .
College of Basic Sciences and Humanities has a well-built infrastructure with modern facilities. The college campus houses several academic buildings and laboratories. The classrooms and laboratories are well equipped with modern teaching aids and wifi connection. Although the washrooms in the campus do need some maintenance. The college has a hostel facility that provides accommodation for students.
CBSH offers undergraduate, postgraduate in various disciplines of basic sciences and humanities. I'm pursuing B.Tech degree in Biotechnology. The academic curriculum is designed to impart theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields and are dedicated to providing quality education to students.
The college has an active Training and Placement Cell that helps students secure opportunities by organizing campus interviews, career guidance, and counseling sessions. The college has decent placement rate and students get placed in reputed companies. Some of the top recruiters include ITC, Tata Chemicals, HDFC Bank, MERCK.
The course I'm pursuing, B. tech biotechnology, costs approx 1,75,000 per year. Although the college provides decent opportunities for growth and development, but the potential ROI does not justifies the expenses.
The campus life is good overall. The campus is surrounded by nature. It provides peace of mind. The students are always busy with all kinds of events being organized in the campus.
The infrastructure of college is average but the lab equipments are a bit old and rusty. Classes are not regularly cleaned and the washrooms are horrific, there is no water supply in the washbasins. Fans are not working properly as the switch board is damaged, it's a living hell during summers.
Quality of teaching is average in Biotechnology. The only plus point is availability of books via library and notes/study materials provided by professors. Learning is not practiced cheerfully rather it is taken as a procedure that is performed just to get passing grades ( feels like we are not studying to learn ). Agriculture related subjects like crop production and technology, production technology for Horticulture crops etc are really well taught along with practicals.
Placement process is not easy as small ratio of students get placed. Average package of placement is 5-6 Lakhs per year. A group for Placement activities and group discussion is made which is a good initiative taken by the college but it is a bit inactive.
My course cost 1.5 lakhs per annum. My course costs a bit much in exchange of what we get. The college does not organize any workshops to develop skills or career counseling seminars. There can be so much improvements made in college.
The campus life is very lively as many activities and events are organized regularly plus a lot of competitions take place along with exams. The only minus point is the restriction put on girls regarding the entry time of hostels.
1-Yes,It have most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. 2-Classrooms and laboratories are well maintained with proper wifi. Libraries have a great collection of books with proper environment 3-Yes, living spaces are clean
I am studying Bachelor of Technology Biotechnology because I want to research for the better future. Teaching quality is average,it can be better .No,I don't think that curriculum is updated. No,I will apply for higher studies ..
Quite average, it can do better with packages . Highest salary package is 5-6lpa .No,it can do better with placement .There is less campus placement as companies doesn't come solely for BTech biotechnology.
1.5lakh/year (including mess ) 2-Yes as I am exploring a lot of things like technology,Studies, inner values ... There is a lot of events in which we are able to get a lot of benefits like increasing our better self
Campus is overall good , Nature is quite great in here. As this is the Agricultural based University it has a lot of vegetation. Sports is quite great in like ..Many events take place from time to time . Overall it is quite great
All facilities like classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels are well maintained. Living spaces and the food is hygienic but there is problem in food but overall is good. Good place for pursue your degree.
I am studying Btech Biotechnology . And it is good course. Quality of teaching is good. Some professor our teaching use with the help of pdf while some are teaching us on board . Practical class always held .
Average quality of placement at your college. Highest salary package is 4-5 LPA .It needs to improve but overall is good. Yes our college is supportive . Only For Biotechnology companies are not come . Very less number of students got campus placement.
Our course cost 150000 per year it includes mess fees hostel fees wifi charge . Yes getting our money is worth it but they need to improve some laboratories of our college. College washroom need to improve the condition of washroom is not good
Campus life is good . Here some events are always going on . Students are always busy its good because we improve our personality and enjoy our college life. In our campus there is a ground know an Gandhi park good place for spend time. There is a small market that is good we don't need to go out for buying something.
It's a lush green campus with good infrastructure ..the college has various types of labs which are quite well equipped and there are many such labs the names of which you could have never known about... number of reasearch programmes related to agriculture takes place here
As compared to other government institutions here teachers focus more on the understandings of the students.... number of assignments are given to complete..but still better selection of teaching staffs is an area of improvement..
Not much aware about the placement activities but I think the average package of 5-6 lpa is there in case of technology college but as far as biotechnology is considered then here it has not more such opportunities and students prefer to go for higher studies.
As far as teaching is considered then it's quite better payoff for it but still fee needs to be lowed down as placements are not good enough for students of B.tech Biotechnology and students are compelled to either look for opportunities outside the college or go for higher studies.
In terms of greenery it's outstanding but apart from this there is nothing rather than badi market and chhoti market (not actually that high standard market) to chill out with friends . Friends are the only source of entertainment here.
Yes it have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment and all living spaces are clean. buildings are well maintained, classroom and other facilities are also well maintained. There is availability of library .
I'm studying Btech biotechnology and the quality of teaching here is good. Yes curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Professor are nice. Different activities are conducted to make sure student can learn easily.
Average pakage 5-6 lakh per annum. Biotechnology is growing field so initial package is good enough to make a good career in future. To enhance the package more opportunities are there to have good. Je
Yes, it is worth but still can be improved. Activities are conducted to improve personality. Classroom contain many smartboard and digital facilities like projectors .. professors have good communication skills with students.
Campus Life is good. The best part about college is its location. It is safe and can handle emergencies. It has park, halls where all the programs are conducted and the greenery add beauty to its infrastructure.
The infrastructure of my college is well developed. Classrooms are big with proper seats, blackboards, projectors, and are also smartboards. Labs have equipments but they are old and not so well-maintained. There is a library in campus which has variety of books. Living spaces are neat and clean except washrooms. The hallways are clean.
I am studying Biotechnology engineering currently in my college. The quality of education in my college is average. It can be improved immensely through the way if teaching, properly experimenting in labs, etc. The study does not make me feel job ready.
The quality of placements for biotechnology engineering is not good. Very few companies come for on campus placements. You can get good placements for other branches and from outside though. The college and teachers are supportive.
My biotechnology engineering course cost around 1.5 lakhs per annum. I feel the facilities and equipments provided to me are quite good for the amount of money I'm paying. So yes i do feel getting my money is worth. However, improvements can be made.
College campus is very vast for students. It's very greenery and gives peaceful vibes. Many events are organised for students to enjoy and gain experience. Various food points are available. Some teachers are good while some are not. Location is not safe for girls though.
My college does have good infrastructure and also have necessary facilities and equipments. The classrooms are neat with good seats and also projectors. There is also a music room with instruments. University library has various kinda of books. Labs in college are good. Living spaces are also nice and clean.
Currently, I am pursuing biotechnology engineering in my college. The quality of education is moderate. Some professors are quite good and really makes the teaching interesting. However, some professors teach from ppt and don't make efforts. The curriculum is updated and does include developments. It can be improved.
The quality of placements in our college for biotechnology engineering is not good. Not many companies come for biotechnology on campus placements. However, sometimes you can get good placements. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA.
My course cost around 1.5 thousand per year approximately. I don't feel like the facilities and equipments provided to us are worth the money we are paying. There can be so many improvements made in college or university regarding academics, events, infrastructure.
The college campus is average. Best feature is that there is quite greenery here and so much area to roam around and have fun with friends. Also, many events happen in campus for students to engage in. Worst feature is that there is so much strictness for girls and environment is not much safe for girls.
