The College of Dental Science and Research Centre, Ahmedabad, is a co-educational college, which was started in the year 2005 at Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. This college comes under Gujarat University and the courses offered here are approved by the Dental Council of India, thus providing education in the field of dentistry. The college sprawls over a campus of 3.35 acres, providing an environment for learning and research. The total enrolment of students at the institution is 451, out of which 138 are faculty members. At the postgraduate level, CDSRC Ahmedabad offers different programs in Master of Dental Surgery with an intake of 3 seats each in MDS. These include MDS in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Paedodontics, and Conservative Dentistry. All courses are full-time, ensuring intensive and focussed learning. Admission to CDSRC, Ahmedabad, is purely based on merit by adopting a uniform admission procedure. Candidates will have to take admission for the BDS course through NEET-UG. Candidates seeking admission should have passed the NEET-UG and fulfill the eligibility norms adopted by the respective college and/or competent authority. For the postgraduate MDS courses, admission is conducted by NEET for MDS. The college accepts NEET scores for all its dental programs, hence making the selection process open and competitive.
