College of Education, Meduka was established in the year 2008. This is a Co-educational institution set up in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. It is affiliated to Pt. College of Education, Meduka, has facilities to improve the teaching-learning process and overall development of its students. Boys' and girls' hostels exist on the campus, accommodating 42 and 80 students respectively, in a homely atmosphere under the guidance of caring wardens. A well-stocked library is a knowledge reservoir, housing a collection of countless reference books, journals, and daily publications for support in extensive reading and research. The college sustains a vast playground for physical fitness . An auditorium with 300 seats, science and psychology labs supplied with all the apparatus and instruments meant for practical experiments, campus-wide Wi-Fi facility, the canteen, and a health centre with first-aid facilities make the campus more accessible. Transport facilities are provided by the college for the students and faculty so that traveling is made accessible to the campus.
Under the College of Education, Meduka provides two courses - the Bachelor of Education, B.Ed, that takes 150 seats and the Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed, with 50 seats. Both the courses are two-year courses, in which student will acquire all the skills and knowledge in this regard so that the student can perform well in practical teaching.

The admission process at College of Education, Meduka is merit-based. According to the policy issues related to it, it follows the guidelines that are set by the state government and followed by the university and UT administration. In case of B.Ed admissions, it is done on the basis of marks obtained in a qualifying examination and performance in the entrance exam, or some other selection procedure existing during the policy. Selection to the D.El.Ed programme is also based on merit, on the marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination result.
