About College of Fisheries, Dholi

The College of Fisheries, Dholi was established in the year 1986 located at Samastipur, Bihar. It is a constituent college, offering fisheries education through a host of degree and diploma courses. The college spans an area of 25 acres of land. The college approved by Indian Council for Agricultural Research has one single degree program with a total of 115 enrolled students and 11 faculty members. 

Most of the following facilities have been provided at the College of Fisheries, Dholi, to make students' learning process interesting:. For comfortable residence with all amenities, separate hostels are available for boys and girls in the campus. There is a library in the campus which acts as a knowledge hub with about 5,000 books, journals, and magazines of national and international repute that meet the academic requirements of the students and trainees. For practical learning, the institution has well-equipped laboratories that include a wet laboratory, several models of carp hatchery, an FRP Magur Hatchery, etc., providing a conducive environment for experimentation and training purposes. The college also gives importance to the integration of technology through a computer laboratory with more than 20 terminals catering to the basic internet requirements of students.

Academically, the College of Fisheries, Dholi, aspires to impart quality education in fisheries science. The institution offers only one full-time course, B.F.Sc. (Hons) extending to four years. 6. Document verification: After the College of Fisheries, Dholi have allotted the seat, the candidates need to come to the college for document verification with the following documents:

  • ICAR AIEEA-UG admit card and result
  • Mark sheets and certificates of 10th and 12th
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • Character certificate
