IPS Academy, Indore College of Law was established in 2009 as a constituent unit of the Madhya Pradesh. Located on a fairly large plot of land of 269, 421 sq.m this educational establishment is focused on offering legal education. The college proudly has approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) and it provides various law courses for the legal learners. The college admits 90 new students per year and has a faculty of 13 teachers, so every student gets individual attention and high qualified education. The institute has four types of law programmes for undergraduates and post under graduates with emphasis on different areas of specialisation in law.

The College of Law, IPS Academy has got good number of facilities that helps the students in their learning process. The campus has a library with books, journals and other learning resources touching on laws and other goods to know. For female students there is a girls’hostel to accommodate them in appropriate environment and ensure their security. The commitment to the accomplishment of the whole man/person is well manifested in the various sports complex of the college which caters for almost eighteen different activities which has churched out national and international athletes. This is because the institute has well-developed information and computer technology resources mainly computerised research laboratories. They can also take a meal at the campus cafeteria which is not only a place where they can get a snack but also a place for congregational purposes. The contemporary seminar room with audio visual equipment is used for conferences, presentations and other academic activities. Besides, transport facilities, a bank, internet connection for high-speed internet, and a medical unit of the college can also be named that would help students to feel as much comfortable as possible.

The College of Law, IPS Academy provides a number of law courses for the students to choose according their goals. There are four complete courses offered in the institute, out of which three are undergraduate courses and one is a post graduate course. On average, an intake of 35 students per course has been approved and the total intake for all courses is 210 seats. The undergraduate programmes being offered are the three year LLB (Hons) and the five year integrated programmes of BA LLB (Hons) & BBA LLB (Hons) which have a total capacity of 60 each. Apart from the undergraduate course, the college provides a two-year LLM programme for 30 students. They are intended to enable students acquire a wealth of knowledge and skills in law as well as coloring them for wholesome employment in different facets of the legal frameworks.

Admissions to the College of Law, IPS Academy, are based on rules and regulation formulated by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. For undergraduate programmes like the LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons), the Admission Committee of the University follows such guidelines as have been prescribed by the state government. BA LLB (Hons): This five-year integrated course has an admission strength of 60 students. Admission is as per the rules of the state government for undergraduate courses. The candidates who are eligible to apply must have passed their 10+2 with subjects as mandated by the Bar Council of India.

BBA LLB (Hons): Another five-year integrated course with 60 seats, this course is a blend of business administration and law studies. The admission policy is as per the guidelines set by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. 10+2 passed candidates from any stream are eligible to apply, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

LLM: This postgraduate course, lasting two years, has 30 seats. Admission is done as per the Higher Education rules of Government of Madhya Pradesh. One must pass LLB or equivalent degree to take this course.
