The College of Pharmacy, Madurai Medical College, Madurai was established in year 2008, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University is a constituent college by the Government of Tamil Nadu at India. Having a total land area of 22.11 acres, this institution is a specialized university for pharmacy. PCI enshrine the college and AICTE also like this college so the quality of the education is pretty high. In all, it has registered 477 students and has a faculty compliment of 39 to teach and administer various pharmacy courses. For postgraduate studies, the college provides three specialised M.Pharma programmes: The following diploma programmes are offered in the satisfaction of this requirement: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical chemistry each takes two academic year. Pharmaceutics & Pharmacognosy has 9 seats while the course in Pharmaceutical chemistry has only 4 seats offered.
