Thottakkad College of Teacher Education, a constituent college started functioning in the year 1994, situated at Thottakkad, Kottayam District of Kerala state. Co-educational institute established and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Sun is a pioneer institute in providing teacher education. The college occupies a small area of 0.7 acres and provides the educational experience in luxury for the students opting for the teaching profession.
