CICMS which stands for Community Institute of Commerce and Management Studies was started in 2007 and is well known institute situated in Jayanagar, Bangalore. This affiliated college provides a number of undergraduate courses in commerce and management to the students who want to pursue quality education in this subject. CICMS is a small institute occupying a campus of just 0.67 acres with a plethora of institutes and schools in the crossover city of Bengaluru. As of now, it has a total number of students enrolled is 659 taught by 19 talented and committed members of the faculty, thereby providing a reasonable size student to teacher ratio which is an excellent factor in enhancing students’ achievement.

As part of student support and development CICMS boasts of having developed various facilities to support the learning process of their students. The college contains a fully equipped library with facilities that support education and research activities. For regular sport lovers, a modern gym has been provided on the campus so as to maintain the ideal health standard of the students. Also incorporated in the establishment of the institutes the auditorium which is used for event, seminars as well as cultural activities to enhance the students’ interpersonal interaction. It is added that, sports facilities in the college are also available for the sports lovers thus enable the growth of a sportsman together with mental ability. Likewise, CICMS has put emphasis on great quality in information technology compliments the fact that students get appropriate tools needed in their studies in the present day society.

The institute provides a small range of three full-time undergraduate degree study programs that each take a total of three years. These programmes include Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). These specific programmes offered here represent the key focus of the institute to offer niche education in commerce, management and computer application. It is, however, impossible to give exact information of the graduates but the level of education offered in the institute is a proof that the students are bound to have a positive result.

The admission process at CICMS is also simple thereby making it conform to the laid down standards of admitting students. Despite the ever changing environment for a business school with an IIT as its sister institution, CICMS is determined to define the future of commerce & Management Professions in Bengaluru and elsewhere.
