One of the premier institutions in India, the CONSPI Academy of Management Studies (CAMS), Thiruvananthapuram uses a bleak and competitive selection process for the admission of students into the highly sought-after MBA program. The MBA program offered in the academy is fully recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has a stringent selection procedure to ensure that only the best talents and aptitudes are enrolled into the management study program.
Every year, the announcement of examination dates for national as well as state management aptitude test entrance examinations marks the beginning of the admission process at CAMS. Such scores are accepted from different examinations such as the Common Admission Test (CAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), and Kerala Management Admission Test (KMAT Kerala). Conducted November to January, these exams draw the maximum number of applicants.

MBA: The Master of Business Administration program stands for flagship program for CAMS with an overall approved intake capacity of 60 students. The revised MBA admission process is constructed for selection among candidates with high analytical skills and potential in leadership but an inclination to join management studies.
The stages of the selection of applicants for CAMS MBA program include the following:
1. Entrance Exam: The applicants are to appear for any one of the approved management entrance tests at CAMS. The necessary percentile requirement is 10 for general and SEBC candidates, and it reduces to 7.5 for specific SC/ST candidates.
2. Shortlisting: On the basis of entrance exam results, candidates will be short-listed by CAMS for the next round of selection process.
3. Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates will also take part in a group discussion at the CAMS campus. This would provide scope to examine their skills in terms of working with a team as well as analytical thinking.
