Continental Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) was founded in the year of 2008 and interim college situated in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. CIET is located on 60 acre spread of land and the campus environment enhances technical training. Being rather young, the institute has been developing its academic programme and facilities to address the complicated processes occurring in the sphere of engineering.

CIET has developed a number of infrastructural facilities that is intended to complement efficiency of the students. The institute has well equipped laboratories to accommodate different departments needed for practical session that are paramount in engineering school. A modern library plays the role of information center which provides a rich diversity of services to facilitate learning. The college has put serious efforts to equip good IT facilities for students, so that they can use available IT technology. As for academic programmes, CIET now provides only two diploma courses each of which takes three years of full-time study. The objectives and goal of the institute involves promoting technical education of right standard in core discipline of engineering. With an approved intake of 60 students per programme, the Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are evidence of the institute’s policy to admit only limited numbers of enroled classes for better learning environment.
