Daripally Anantha Ramulu College of Engineering and Technology Or DARCT is one of the growing institutes of Engineering situated at Khammam, Telangana and was founded in the year 2007. This affiliated college recognized by AICTE New Delhi also provides number of engineering and management courses. Situated over an area of 2 acres of land, DARCT has emerged as center of technical learning in the area. The college thus has a total student capacity of 802 and a faculty team of 129, thereby providing a good strength of students per teacher ratio making learning and growth personalized.

The college has various impressive facilities that would improve the learning abilities of the students within the institution. The library is a primary asset in the provision of academic support at DARCT; the library contains more than 25000 books and approximately 3200 titles. It also has subscriptions to national and International journals and resource for competitive examination like GRE, TOEFL, IELTS & GATE. As one of the most innovating places of the college, the computer laboratory is well air-conditioned with 125 computer systems with the most current configuration. This lab follows ‘one student one system’ policy adopted by the college to make sure that they assign one computer with internet connection to each student. DARCT currently provides sixteen programmes of study at bachelors, masters, and diploma level in B.Tec, M.Tec, MBA, etc. The college offers 9 undergraduate programmes, 2 postgraduate, and 6 diploma courses to increase chances of enrolment among learners with different passion in the areas of their study and career paths.

According to the admission policies of the DARCT, the admission procedures are very rigorous, and competitive to ensure that qualifies students are offered place in the various programs they wish to pursue. The college accepts the scores of state level as well as national level entrance examinations depending on the specialization courses of the student. For engineering programs the college directly accepts the scores of Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) and Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET).
