DAV College, Abohar, was founded in 1960 and it delivers higher education to the student community of Punjab, India. Situated at Hanumangarh Road, Abohar, this co-education institute has been imparting education among students for the last sixty-two years. Located on 28 acres of land, the college provides 22 courses in 10 programmes to the 3,348 learner population. The college has a well-qualified faculty of 52 members to ensure a low student-teacher ratio, which helps the students to grow in the right possible manner.

The college also has an events and seminar auditorium as part of a vibrant college life as well. 

DAV College Abohar assists students in providing all-round education through its numeral branch which offers 22 courses in its different fields. These include both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study and all kinds of traditional and new learning fields. 

DAV College, Abohar follows a major role of admissions through merit as can be expected from an institution which focuses on academics. It is however worthy of note that except for a few professional courses, admission into most of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination.
