Located in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh in India, DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, was started in 1950. Spread over 15.24 acres of land, this affiliated college has been shaping young minds since the last seventy years. It is an NAAC-accredited institution with approval from NCTE and BCI. With a total student enrolment of 4,659 and a faculty strength of 47, DAV College runs a wide range of 25 courses in 11 degree programs, catering to diverse academic interests and career aspirations. 

The very centre of its academic resources is a well-stocked central library of over 115,496 books, periodical subscriptions to various research journals, periodicals, magasines, and newspapers. Other modern facilities include a well-appointed laboratory for practical learning, a sports centre for both indoor and outdoor games, and an auditorium for events and seminars. Different kinds of amenities are provided for a safe and secure environment in which the installation of CCTV cameras at key locations, Wi-Fi connectivity, IT infrastructure, and gymnasium are availed to students.

DAV College, Muzaffarnagar offers a wide range of courses to cater to students' diverse interests. The institution has as many as 25 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which include traditional programs like BA, BSc, BCom, LLB, and professional ones such as BEd, BCA, and BBA. DAV College, Muzaffarnagar is an eminent educational establishment located in Uttar Pradesh, India. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com.: Generally, admission in these undergraduate programs is based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10+2). The college offers several specializations under these degrees. For B.Com (Self-Finance), the admission procedure is based on merit/entrance test, with an intake of 120 seats.

B.Ed.: The admission for B.Ed. is based on the merit of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The selection follows the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.

BCA and BBA (Self-Finance): Both these professional courses have an admission procedure based on merit/entrance tests. BCA has an intake of 120 seats and BBA offers 60 seats.

LLB and LLM: Admissions for LLB though follow the general merit system, are the same for LLM (Self-Finance), yet no specifications are provided.

M.Sc.: The college offers M.Sc. in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Statistics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Computer Science. Most of these programs have an intake capacity of 20–30. Admission to Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Computer Science (Self-Finance) is through Merit/Entrance Test.

M.A.: Subjects included under M.A. are Sociology, Psychology, English, Drawing and Painting, and Economics. These are self-financing courses with varying capacities for intake(20-60).
