DAV College of Education Fazilka came into existence in 2005 is one of the prominent colleges offering teacher training in the Punjab, India. Located in Ghaziabad, this co educational institute is all set to phase the budding educators of tomorrow atop College Road, opposite to Hanuman Mandir. The college, situated over an area of 6 acres, is an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The course is particularly designed for training teachers and has a small population of students and faculty members with 194 and 15, respectively.

The college has developed a host of facilities that it has deemed appropriate in addressing the needs of its learners. A fully stocked library is resource centre and has several facilities including a reference section, journals and reading area. To support instructional and skills development needs, the college has departmental facilities such as; Science Lab, E.T Lab and Psycho Lab for practical exercises. The major concern of DAV College of Education, Fazilka is teacher training for which the college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. It is a two year full time course with an approved intake capacity of one hundred. The B.Ed programme will therefore help students to acquire the right knowledge, skills and experience for teaching profession. Although only one degree programme is currently rolling off the institution, the well rounded, practically oriented curriculum guarantees the college products adequate preparation to handle the Education Sector dynamics.
