The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys. The hostels are shared both by the B.Ed/M. Ed students and students from D.A.V College, Hoshiarpur. Hostels provide a congenial and homely atmosphere to students. The warden keeps a strict vigil on the inmates and discipline of a very high order is maintained in the hostels.

The college has an excellent library housed in a commodious hall. The library is equipped with a large number of books on Education in particular and, on general subjects like General Knowledge, UGC, and Fiction(English, Hindi, Punjabi), etc. The library has a very rich collection of Rare Books, Reference Books, Encyclopedias on educational research, and many more, etc. The Library is automated through the software CDS/ISIS. Online Public Access Catalogue allows searching of books, dissertations, and other library documents. One can search the Bibliographic record of books and other documents available in the library. Our College Library serves as a portal from which the students and faculty can access a vast amount of reading material for their education & all-around development. Online Access to e-books and e-journals is provided through the N-LIST program. As such the library reading room provides an excellent atmosphere for students to update their knowledge in various fields. There is a library committee comprising four members including Librarian. This committee is headed by the Principal. The members of the library committee give valuable suggestions and help in implementing decisions regarding library improvements, purchases, and developments.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Well-developed playfields for major outdoor games and sports are provided in college.

The well-equipped Computer Lab. With the internet and more modern facilities to serve all the future teachers for better awareness of ICT, theory and practical classes are taken up by making small groups to give individual attention. Computer labs on college campuses offer unrivaled access to research opportunities. Many scholarly websites and journals are available to college students using computers through the N-list program. Additionally, computer labs are generally equipped with high-speed Internet access. Students especially M.Ed students can, thus, perform research subjects with greater ease and access more content using higher-quality connections.

During a hectic schedule of academic hours, students often need a break to rest and satisfy their hunger. To meet that requirement for refreshment D.A.V. College of Education provides its students and all faculty members with a fine serving cafeteria on the college campus. The cafeteria is not just a refreshment place but also a relaxing, interactive ground!!

To promote e-based teaching-learning methodology, a centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 350 is being constructed at our educational complex. The advancements in technology have benefited one and all. Our students and faculty are no exception. They use the latest multimedia system with large digital screens to display their visually-based demonstrations and graphics-oriented lessons which make it the best college in Northern India. A neat and tidy parking area speaks volumes about the quality of the institution. Separate parking areas in the college territory are available for committee members, faculty, and students including car parking areas as well.

The college provides banking facilities to the students, we lay stress on the same subject from a different point of view. The popularization of banking habits among students would be immensely useful. Moreover, the students being admitted to professional colleges come from far-away places and it is not safe for them to keep money with them all the time. The Governing body is, therefore, making all possible attempts to provide banking facilities to young students. The college has an adjoining branch of Indian Bank and a 24-hour ATM facility.
