DAV College of Education is a well-known educational institute in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, Established in 1966. This affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education – NCTE college is dedicated to teacher education programmes. Situated at Arya Samaj Road, Hoshiarpur, the college offers two main courses: B.Ed and M.Ed. DAV College of Education is also dedicated to preparing future educators with the help of faculty members of only 18. The institute is also co-educative, that is it has both male and female students and pupils.

The equipped library is an information resource centre that is established to have several books related to education as well as other disciplines. Likewise, the admission policy of the M.Ed programmes as a result goes by a merit system as Touchette et al, prescribed by the university. DAV College of Education, Hoshiarpur presents two courses of teacher education leading to B. Ed. And M.Ed both are full-time courses. Besides, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programmes have an approved intake capacity of 300 and Master of Education (M.Ed) programmes have an intake capacity of 50. They are two-year programmes which are expected to produce students with teaching profession and educational leadership.
