Our college provides all the basic facilities like need and clean classroom, a library and computer labs. While it provides all essentials infrastructure for academic activities, I feel that the amenities could be improved.
I completed my BBA degree from this college. Our college is affiliated with Utkal University and is known for maintaining a curriculum which aligns with industry requirements. It provides undergraduate programs related to commerce and business. Recently, our college added the PGDM course also.
The quality of placements at our college is average. I faced some difficulties during placement process. However, I did not taking any placement offer from our campus as I was planning to pursue MBA/PGDM degree after BBA.
The college infrastructure is truly commendable.,offering a very conducive environment for learning and personal growth. Sports facilities are also top-notch. They also provide comfortable accommodation.
Very great academic environment. Curriculum is also duly updated. Faculties are very well qualified. They also offer a wide range of extra Curricular activities. Skills and knowledge will get improved.
No one apply for job here after bachelors but still few good companies visit here. But ony few students get placed. Few means less than 10. You have to keep atleast 75% to sit in a placement. So placement is not here.
Exceptional academic environment.
Overall infrastructure of the college is good but it could have been more better . Improvisation should take place as most of the students nowadays are attracted by the campus and infrastructure of the college.
The college is moderate at academic excellence. The teaching staff and the way of teaching can be improved especially in subjects like accounting . But the professor of English and interpersonal skills is great at his work. The faculties are good enough.
Last year, a girl got a package of Rs 21 lakhs through the college, placements are available . Placements are available and nearly 4-5 students are selected. The average package is quite okay. Return on investment is good
It is worth of money for those students who are interested in a professional course like CMA, CA, CS as the college is based on management studies and it doesn't have anything to explore the campus. But overall, it is worth the value . It is still preferable for students to take admission in .
The college owns a vast area but doesn't utilise that to improve the infrastructure. There should be a girls hostel in the campus. Also the canteen facilities should be improved.
Till now my experience is good. As I'm opting for CMA, more of my focus is on my studies and preparation to clear that. Im learning a lot though from this college. It doesn't mislead the students about any information. As expected, the college owns a good reputation affiliated to Utkal University CBCS College .
I didn't feel the college had the best infrastructure as the college was in a growing stage. When i studying the college had all the basic requirement like smart classes & all. There was no infrastructure at all. Yes, all the living spaces were clean & hygenic.
I was studying BBA, The quality of teaching was average/good. Yes the curriculum was good & updated. I don't have any idea about the recent developments, I don't think it made me job-ready or gave enough opportunities to make job ready.
I guess 4-5 companies came. They were good companies though like D.E. SHAW & Godrej, apart from that i have no knowledge regarding the placements & all. That is all i know about the college placements.
The course fees was Rs 85000/year. It accounts to Rs 255000 for the 3 years of the course. Yes, i somehow think it was worth it, but it lacked infrastructure like sports facilities, food outlets etc.
There was no campus life at all, there was nothing students could engage in & have fun. The students, teachers & support staff was very friendly, Location is in the city centre. I assume it can handle emergencies.
It would be a good college in a time span of few years.
College infrastructure was very good and upto the mark the college has many facilities for students like library for peaceful study play ground for sports activities cafe and canteen which has hygienic food
Study part of this college is upto the mark and teachers are also very friendly in nature and are always ready to help their students at any point of time they provide real life exposure to the students
Placement of this college is very good they provide 100% placement to their students and bring very good companies to the college campus during the placement like TCS delloite Wipro Accenture Mahindra etc
Dsbm has all the necessary amenities which is required by any college or university. I have done my bba from this college and i can say that the quality of education is updated every second..... Awesome
Awesome academic culture.... Proper theory and practical knowledge is proving the faculty.... Curriculum includes field knowledge as well.... Faculties have good knowledge on every subject which they teach us.
Placement is improving day by day in the college..... When I used to study in the college I was offered 28k per month job just after my bba but I was planning to do my MBA... But anyone looking for good sources of int just after graduation then go fo this college
This college is absolutely value for money... When I was studying in this college.... Our college fee used to be 26k per semester.. which was way more cheaper than expected.... And the type of study you will get will blow your mind.
One thing I can say it for sure that I miss my College life.... We used to have unlimited fun after our study hours... Because they say a healthy body develop a healthy mind... We used to spend our time properly.
Lastly I would say that if anyone is looking for good college after their 12th then DSBM would be the best choice for them... They will develop personality for future endeavours and will be provided with lots of Knowledge.
DSBM is known for its top-notch infrastructure and good-quality of equipment. The college has almost all the facilities required. There are Smart classrooms with AC, washrooms, which are kept clean, a sound-proof conference hall, and a hostel mess that provides good quality food at affordable prices.
I completed my B.com (Hons) there, and DSBM is known for its Academic excellence. The faculty members are very professional. Teachers always provide study materials which helped a lot during examinations. The curriculum is updated based on the University. There are internship programs that will make anyone job-ready.
The quality of placements was good, and a good percentage of students got placed too. But only a handful of companies come for recruitment drives. The highest package offered was 21.50 LPA by D.E Shaw. The average package offer is around 3-4 LPA by ICICI, Motilal Oswal. Usually, teachers and faculty members assist students during recruitment drives.
B.com (Hons) course fee cost me around 2.4 lakhs. It was worth it since the facilities provided were up to the mark, and I did get placed in one of the good companies with a good package.
The campus life here was great, as we had so many fests and events where we had a great time. The college organizes events and encourages students to participate in those events, be it an annual function or sports day, and awards them for their excellence. The teachers are very supportive. Its location is the best and can handle every type of emergency.
The infrastructure of the campus is nothing extravagant, though the hygiene standards are well maintained and the cleanliness of the classrooms is also looked after well. the institution doesn't have anything flashy and simplistic yet well maintained, we have spacious libraries and computer labs all of which are air conditioned, there are A/C's in the classrooms as well
The institute places onus upon academics, the curriculum is updated with every passing batch to ensure that the students get the best of academic exposure needed to excel in their university examinations and get a grasp over the subject matter taught in class
The college doesn't guarantee a placement for every student and most of the students from my batch were placed off campus. However companies do come to recruit students and individuals with a good academic record and strong performance in the selection rounds of respective companies have bagged campus placements as well. The faculty is very supportive and ensure that the students build professional skills along with academia so that they don't lose out on opportunities.
My per semester fee was around rs 80k and there were 6 semesters. My tenure in this college was a mixed bag because it was hampered by the Covid 19 pandemic. However the college took every effort to make sure that we get the best experience possible in lockdown and even in those conditions many seminars, webinars, expert talks and pannel discussions were conducted for us to get a realistic view of the industry and the real world scenarios that we were going to face post Covid
The campus life is a very engaging one as there are many other activities that students can indulge in besides the classes. There are cultural, finance, literary, IT and many other clubs that the students can join as per their liking and conduct events based upon their interests, the college encourages everyone to be equally involved and participate actively and there are always debates, group discussions, community services or cultural programmes, business quizzes etc. every week.
It was a good time that I spent in this college, many aspects of my personality were uncovered as I was always eager and on the edge to take part in any program that happened, the faculty were very supportive and coped well with the sudden emergence of the pandemic, if not for covid it could have been better
The college buildings are up to the mark, they are well-maintained and resilient dedicated to teaching, learning, and co-curricular development of students. The classrooms are clean and Air-conditioned too, bathrooms are kept clean and well maintained, mess facility is also good
Academics are average here, I'm studying B.com (Hons), the curriculum is updated, and quality is average, we are provided with all the study materials required for studying. they conduct regular mock tests which helps in the end semester. worst feature it has its canteen facility they do not provide many of food option. yes it can handle emergencies
The highest package offered is INR21.5 lakhs by D.E Shaw company to one of my super seniors, the average package offered is 2-3LPA. Placements are only given to those who are highly skilled which I think is biased.
my course cost is 90K per year, which I guess cant be affordable for those in the middle class and it costs more for hostellers, as most of the facilities still need to acquire by us I do think it's worth the cost charges
it is located in the heart of the city, the best features - are the faculty members and staff are polite, the campus has smart classrooms it can handle emergencies too, worst is the canteen facility- it doesn't have options for food variety, students have to eat what has been cooked, the campus has various clubs in which students can engage in. yes it can handle emergencies
Everything is well and good, but canteen facility need to be improve
College Infrastructure is decent enough, including classrooms (smart classes), libraries, computer labs etc. The Campus/Infrastructure provides great learning experiences as well as a great environment to the students.
Academics, is extremely well handled, as the required study materials, such as, Books according to the Curriculum as well as Notes, specially casted for students are provided. The faculty members are also experienced and knowledgeable, and guide the students well.
Exploring the placement facilities at DSBM, the college manages to provide all the students to get through intership programmes (i.e. SIP - Summer Internship Programmes) and placement percentages are just okay.
The Value-for-money, is quite valid for this college, as it provides the students with all-sorts of facilities and guidance and the students also get utter-most support from all the faculty members.
Well, Campus Life at DSBM is great, as it takes part in so many extra-curricular activities. It consistently conducts seminars, webinars, business games and it also allows students to join into various sorts of clubs such as Literary Club, IT Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Finance Club etc.
