David Memorial College of Education for Women, Secunderabad having set up its institution in the year 2003, is one of the leading colleges for women in teaching education. This affiliated college is in Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Telangana, which is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). More specifically the campus occupies an area of 5 acres of land that favours learning and development. Currently the college has a total number of 90 students and a faculty of 6 members to provide individual attention and quality education.

It also owns several infrastructures that relate to the improvement of education among the college students. Another facility in concern is the campus library, which exhibits an adequate accommodation of books, periodicals and other educational materials. In as much as the college promotes practice orientated learning, the college has maintained the departmental laboratory to facilitate practice among students. The institution also recognises the importance of the body, and thus has designed sports facilities for everyone. An auditorium is used for event and Seminars and down fosters an active academic community. 

As part of its facilities, the college provides modern educational technologies to ensure that its students grasp the existing IT systems. Students can choose food products from a cafeteria serving their needs to obtain permitted food stuffs from the college or access first aid services from a health centre in the college. The college also has a girl’s hostel for educators who live in different towns and need a place to stay.

David Memorial College of Education for Women offers one full-time course: It will be noted that the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This two-year programme has an approved intake of 50 students which the management of the college ensures that maintains the college's policy of student teacher ratio. This B.Ed course is therefore aimed at providing the budding teachers with the required knowledge and practical experience, as well as attitudes for teaching profession.
