Dayanand Science College, Latur, is a high repute educational institution. It was established in 1967 in Maharashtra, India. The college is affiliated with NAAC, and its programmes range from graduate to postgraduate courses in science-based studies. Located in a 22-acre campus, the college offers higher education to 1,365 student body with a faculty of 49. Thirty courses in three degrees have brought recognition in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biotechnology to Dayanand Science College.

Dayanand Science College is home to a bundle of thirty courses at the graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. There are 19 different courses available at the undergraduate level, including time-tested programs like B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biotechnology. At the postgraduate level, one has eight to choose from, ranging from Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Biotechnology to a host of eight specially designed M.Sc programmes. This college also has its own doctoral programs in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, and Botany. 

Admission to the Dayanand Science College shall be a merit-based one. It provides facilities that offer admission to the programs of the candidates' respective choices at a high level. For graduate programs like B.Sc., there is a first-come-first-serve admission, although the selection is based on merit. The postgraduate program, for example, M.Sc. in Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics, is also on merit. Some of the courses run by the college accept national-level examination scores, e.g., UGC NET and Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (Maha SET). The Ph.D. research scholars are required to pass either NET/SET/PET or obtain special permission from the university.
