Dayaram Verma Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

For the purpose of the current paper the chosen college is Dayaram Verma Mahavidyalaya affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, situated in Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh offering education in teacher training. Unfortunately, details of the year the institution was established are scarce; however, it may be evidenced to be a premier Institute of teacher training. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE, now teacher education, Govt. of India), the college has introduced and currently imparts two professional courses in education. Dayaram Verma Mahavidyalaya offers a quality education for those who want to make a difference as educators The faculty of the college comprises of 16 members. 

The facilities available in the college include those that are meant to improve the learning of the students by the college. The library acts as source where students get all the materials and information for their education needs and literature. For that end, the institution has functional and well equipped laboratories that suit the departments requirement. There are two full time courses in education at Dayaram Verma Mahavidyalaya for preparing teachers at elementary as well as secondary levels. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course is a two year program intended for those who want to become teachers of secondary education. In case of primary education the college offers a two year Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed)program. Both programs are designed in such a way that within their framework prospective teachers can gain profound knowledge in educational theories, teaching methods, and actual skills in classroom practices. Though the current statistics or detailed information is not available anywhere in terms of overall total seats settings and graduation rates, the college has not departed from its quality settings of educational programs.
