Deen Dayal Post Graduate College in Muzaffarnagar is an extensive mix-gender college offering several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a host of disciplines. It is characterized by a long procedure of admission to select students on merit for various courses.
The admission process is generally started for the academic year just before the beginning of the session. The essential eligibility criterion for most programs is that the student must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. The admission policy of the college is as laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university, Chaudhary Charan Singh University.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed: Deen Dayal PG College has an approved B.Ed intake capacity of 100 seats. The admission for the B.Ed course is based on merit strictly based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policy of the State Government and the University. Other criteria may be provided as per the regulations set down in the guidelines by appointing bodies.
B.P.Ed: The Bachelor of Physical Education program shall have 50 seats as per approved intake. The admission process for B.P.Ed is quite elaborate and consists of 3 major components:
1. Physical fitness test (Modified AAPHERD Test)
2. Evaluation of sports achievements in the last three years (based on certificates)
3. Written test and interview
It should be noted that, due to the course's physical aspect, persons with physical disabilities cannot get admission in this course. Female candidates will sign an undertaking to withdraw from the course if they get pregnant during their studies.
M.Ed: The Master of Education program has approved 50 seats for admission. The pattern of admission to M.Ed, similar to the B.Ed scheme, shall be based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations or the results of the entrance examination. The college will abide by the admission policy set by the State Government and the University.
D.EI. Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education has a provision of 50 seats. Admission is on merit, with consideration of marks in the qualifying examination or results for entrance examinations, under the policies set forth by the State Government and the University.
BCA, BBA & B.Com: These undergraduate programs of Computer Application, Business Administration, and Commerce use merit for admission. Merit is based on marks obtained by a candidate in the qualifying examination or by any other selection process as per the policies of the State Government and Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
I am studying b. Ed. The quality of teaching is very nice. It helps us to explore ourselves. And makes us job ready. It helps us to gain experience. And be independent ttt. The environment is also good.
I am studing B.Ed. because i am interested in teaching. Education in my college is good and teachers do ay attention on there respective subjects. Curriculum is updated to some extend and have recent developments. Yes, it does makes me job ready.
