Deepshikha Teacher Training College, started its operation in 2005, is a co-education college situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This is an affiliated college located in Institutional Area of Sitapura and having an area of 6 acres of land. Since its establishment, the institute has been accredited and affiliated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to provision quality education. Deepshikha Teacher Training College has a total student enrolment of 191 and a faculty strength of 14 which assures an intimate teaching setting for the future teachers. At the moment, the college offers only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), which is a two-year full course.

Deepshikha Teacher Training College has adopted several installations intended to improve the learning and personal development of the learners. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls which are comparatively far better than other local hostels to accommodate out station students. The six days a week operation set library as one of the most important learning resource for the students as well as for the faculty members providing a rich collection of educational resources. It also has functional laboratories, such as child safe organic science laboratory for practical and project work that is supervised by instructors. A 100-seater multipurpose hall is used for morning assembly, cultural activities and academic purposes such as seminar.

Deepshikha Teacher Training College offers only one course, the full time Bachelor of Education (B.ED) programme. This two-year course has an approved intake of 100 students to enshrine the institutes‘ commitment to quality teacher education. The B.Ed programme is a professional course in education science for those students who want to make carrier in teaching profession.

Deepshikha Teacher Training College also like other colleges have entrance examination criteria for admission although the college uses marks obtained to determine a candidate’s eligibility. Admission policy is another important sector in the college is as per the state government of Rajasthan and the affiliated university.
