Dehat Vikas Institute of Education and Technology was launched in the year 2007 at Faridabad. It is an affiliated college in Haryana, India. This is a co-educational institution approved by NCTE, specialising in teacher education. The institute is situated on a small 1-acre campus and is currently hosting 200 students and 18 faculties. The institute offers a single degree program, B.Ed, preparing future educators to meet the challenges of modern education.

Dehat Vikas Institute has several facilities in the campus make the promise of learning a beautiful experience. The library, being one of the chief centres for the availability of academic resources, has a well-stocked library with a total of 4651 books, 7 national journals, and 7 magazines, facilitating even access to more than 62 students. Availed students can have book bank facilities. The institute has a properly furnished computer laboratory fully equipped with modern computers, a projector, and internet facilities for training the students in the digital working of teaching. A curriculum laboratory is also there for practical learning, being stocked with items essential for school-level experiments, mathematical models, and teaching aids.

Dehat Vikas Institute of Education and Technology offers only one course on a full-time basis: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. The course comprehensively equips trainees with theory and practice in the field of education, further preparing them for a successful teaching career. So, through this, the B.Ed program gives a struggling chance for many aspirants to become educators.
