Delhi Engineering College (DEC), started in 2009, is a well-known college in Faridabad, Haryana. It's on a big 10-acre campus and offers various engineering programs. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and follows high academic standards. It’s open to both male and female students who want to pursue engineering.

DEC has great facilities to support students. The library has over 6,000 books on different engineering topics, plus national and international journals, magazines, and newspapers. There’s also a reading room and a reference section with motivational and fiction books, making for a well-rounded learning experience. The computer centre is super modern with high-definition computers, LCD monitors, and all sorts of multimedia tools. The campus has a LAN network and broadband internet, plus we get access to licensed software, so we're always up-to-date with the latest tech. 

The college provides technical diploma programs in addition to full-time B.Tech degrees. While diploma programs typically last three years, B.Tech degrees usually require four years. Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and electronics and communication are common B.Tech majors. Students can select Mechanical Engineering or Electronics and Communication as their graduation subject. The knowledge and abilities these courses impart are necessary for students to pursue successful careers in engineering.

At Delhi Engineering College, the admission process is transparent and merit-based. For B.Tech programs, the college takes scores from the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is a national exam for engineering. This helps make sure that students have a good foundation in the key subjects needed for engineering.

DEC also offers lateral entry for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, with 12 seats available for each.
