DEC which was started in 2009, is a reputed Engineering College located at Faridabad, Haryana. Currently its located on 10-acre and has offered number of engineering programs. DEC has very good facilities for students. The computer centre is very hi-tech with high definition computers, LCD monitors and all forms of multimedia equipments. DEC offered full-time B.Tech degrees, the college also offers technical diploma programs. Diploma courses take three years while B.Tech take four years. Electrical and Electronics engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Electronics and communication engineering are popular B.Tech disciplines. Delhi Engineering College (DEC), Faridabad, is one of the top engineering institutions in Haryana. The admission process for Delhi Engineering College Faridabad shall follow these steps:
1. JEE Main Registration: Candidates must first register and take the JEE Main exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. JEE Main Score: Candidates are required to download the JEE Main Scorecard after the examination is done.
3. Haryana State Counselling: As DEC lies in Haryana, the candidates may have to appear in the counselling process conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES).
4. Choice of College Filling: During the counselling process, the candidates fill their preferences of colleges and courses starting from Delhi Engineering College and their preferred B.Tech course.
5. Seat Allotment: The seat allotment will be done based on the JEE Main rank of the candidate and the choices filled.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: Admissions for B.Tech programs in various departments such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering are based on candidates' performance in JEE Main. A total of 210 seats are available across all B-Tech departments, of which Mechanical Engineering has the maximum entrance of 90 seats.
Diploma: Besides B.Tech programs, DEC also has diploma programs on Electronics Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The diploma programs have 60 seats each. The admission procedure for these programs may vary in many aspects from B.Tech. Therefore, the candidates looking forward to the diploma programs must go through the eligibility criteria and accepted entrance exams for these courses.
